God damn, Bicentennial Man is the perfect saccharine, plodding wonderfully excitingly dull but heartwarming Asimov movie.

This may just be the childhood nostalgia talking but I love this movie.

Fuck it, bit the bullet on ordering a Palma 2. Been thinking about getting one since the first one came out and the refresh feels like the right time.

lets see if i can buy my way out of my screen time issues 😅

I have officially reached “having a glass of red wine while reading the oreilly book about SVGs” level of web dev life.

I really should put a reminder in my diary to check my bikes break pads, otherwise I forget for a few years and yea…

Does anyone have a good way of managing MP3s and bought music? Trying to move away from streaming but the user experience of most of the alternatives I’ve tried has been absolute rubbish.

DMing a one shot this weekend and I am so excited. it’s a bunch of first timers so I’m having to reign myself in and focus on a classic “My first DnD” adventure.

But still, so excited.

I can’t help but feel like all the problematic and wide spread AI in products at the moment will one day be looked back on like we look back at when amphetamines and uranium where widely added hype ingredients.

Setting up my gaming laptop as a big more of a gamedev laptop to noodle around on some Unreal Engine stuff has lead me to install Thunderbird for the first time in like 13 years and wow is it lovely these days.

Having my steam deck over the last year has just shown me how before/ahead of its time the Steam Machine console stuff was.

I would fully fully buy a high specced linux console to replace my xbox these days.

Because of a card number change and my horrible email inbox i lost pride.dev but the Pride Flag API is alive at pride-flag.dev/ !

Trying to buy DRM free books. Or just books where I get actual files rather than locked into a service is so difficult.

Trying to avoid Kindle takes so much energy I usually just end up going back to it.

Loading custom font (its just Garamond) has vastly increased my enjoyment of my ereader. Much closer to “feels like a digital book” vibes

It’s mad DND fifth edition is ten years old. I totally understand all the valid criticism for Wizrds recently, but I’m quite excited for the new books. £90 for 3 books once every 10 years feels like pretty good value.
