So what sticks out to me about Zohran is just look at that typesetting and design. It feels friendly. It feels homely. It is the complete opposite of the bland clean political branding we’re used to.

Using a Mac mini for a home server has been nothing but pain.
Trying to get SMB share to mount permanently is almost impossible.
NFS creates a whole bunch of problems with temporary locking files.
Plus macOS dropping dot files everywhere.
I shoulda just gotta a little mini pc and put Linux on it.

I think one of the main things thats making setting up a music library compared to back in 2007ish is that I dont have a “home computer" ive got a mish mash of a macbook, an ipad and a homeserver. And trying to set up my music library so it can be synced to my iPod but also accessed from those devices in my home is just a faff.
Such a shame there were never any official Led Zeppelin Guitar Hero or Rock Band tracks

Fixed one issue with rockbox on me iPod(turning off if you press the hold switch on while the screen is dimmed) but now there’s an issue with copying files to iFlash.
The saga continues.

I really think when my personal Macbook Pro M1 eventually packs it in. I’m gonna switch to a mac mini.
I kinda like the idea of my home computer being in one static place.

I did say that if boox added a SIM card to their Palms id buy it immediately.
So the Palma 2 Pro is on pre order and I’m excited to try using eink as a daily driver.
Plus navigating using android as an Apple person.
I gotta say, getting back into music libraries with FLACs and MP3s and meta tagging, I really see why we gave all this malarkey up and switched to streaming services.
Really enjoying using my iPod again, but it’s making me earn for a headphone jack on my phone and/or boox palma.
So I could super easily switch headphones between devices.
Rather than fumbling for a USB-C to 3.55mm jack connector that I’ve definitely lost.
